The region’s largest, late-night, ladies only sponsored walk!
Be part of the crew…
Now in its 7th year, the Starlight Stroll has become the region’s largest, late-night, ladies only sponsored walk, bringing together thousands of ladies and raising over £450,000 in aid of Teesside Hospice. With your help we can make this year’s the best yet and with Captain Blackbeard at the helm it is certain to be a night to remember!
Check out last year’s pictures to see what happened in 2013.
There’s a mutiny on board this year’s Starlight Stroll and Captain Blackbeard has taken control. Do you want to be part of the crew?
Yo, ho, ho
Get ye lassies together for what’s set to be the grandest Starlight Stroll yet – a pirate themed 7 mile sponsored walk along the famous Redcar promenade to Marske and back again! Led by Captain Blackbeard himself, we need 2,000 crew mates of all ages and fitness levels; all we ask is that ye have a jolly good time and help to raise as much loot as possible!
Fifteen doubloons (£15) is all it costs to be a part of the crew. Ye get ye very own Pirate Pack including everything ye need for the merriest night of the summer – a Mutiny Manual, training top, medal for when ye have completed the stroll and tasty rations to finish.
Many people use the stroll as an opportunity to remember their loved ones. You can leave a message to someone special by dedicating a star in their memory, ‘Our Stars.’
We know you will have a night full of fun with your fellow pirates and the added bonus is you will be supporting your local Hospice. By raising sponsorship you are helping Teesside Hospice care for local people suffering from advanced cancer and other life limiting illnesses – remember to check out the Mutiny Manual to see how you can help.
Gather yer girls and be part of the crew!
Registration from 8pm at Redcar & Cleveland College, walk commences at 10pm. Register now.
